Invisible Children: Facts

There are ALOT of misinformed people spreading misleading information.

You do NOT need to give your money to Invisible Children. They are not simply looking for donations. Spread the word. Social Media is a powerful thing, the world will hear about KONY2012 if we all keep spreading the word. The government can not ignore this if its everywhere. Spreading the word and networking this message had already resulted in US support in Africa. I’m 23 years old and 4 days ago I had no idea who KONY was. I think Invisible Children have already open millions of eyes and hearts. Regardless of your political position, race, or nationality, I think we can all agree KONY is a terrible man. You do not have to agree with everything, but please do not spread hate or misleading quotes about this. Whether it is Invisible Children that directly help bring a end to KONY or another organization all together, the point is he was stopped. and CHILDREN’S LIVES WERE SAVED. <3

Let’s make JOSEPH KONY Famous!!

Who is JOSEPH KONY?

He is THE WORST LIVING CRIMINAL. He abducts children and makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. He calls his abducted children the Lord’s Resistance Army, AKA the LRA. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is INVISIBLE to the world. FEW know his name, even FEWER know his crimes. WE ARE MAKING HIM FAMOUS! Because when he is, the world will unite against him and demand his arrest.

We can help make a change. We can make a difference.

I feel so inspired. I feel the need to help and make a difference. This has to happen in 2012. We can’t let him go around and keep doing this to children in Central Africa. Let’s make his name known so he can be stopped. HE CAN NO LONGER BE INVISIBLE!

Colts and Manning appear to be parting ways

I won’t cry, I won’t cry, I won’t cry…..

The Peyton Manning era in Indianapolis will come to an end on Wednesday afternoon, as the team is prepared to release its long-time quarterback rather than pay him the $28 million roster bonus he’s due on March 8. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen first reported the news, which has been expected for some time now. Both team owner Jim Irsay and Manning reportedly will attend a press conference to announce the news. A time for the press conference hasn’t been announced yet.

Syracuse University: Drug Policy Violations

"Syracuse University has self-reported possible violations of its internal drug policy and an NCAA inquiry is underway, according to school officials.

Kevin Quinn, senior vice president for public affairs for the university, says the inquiry does not involve any current student-athletes.

"In accordance with NCAA regulations, it is the University’s practice to self-report possible violations to the NCAA. We self-reported issues with drug testing to the NCAA, and there is currently an ongoing inquiry," the school said in a statement Monday. "The inquiry does not involve any current SU student-athletes. To ensure the integrity of the ongoing process, we are unable to comment further at this time.""
